New Haven is located in the state of Connecticut in the northeastern United States. By car, it is about two hours from New York City and three hours from Boston. It is also accessible by bus or train from both cities.

New Haven is home to Yale University, which means there are plenty of cultural activities and attractions available. The city also has a variety of museums, parks, and other historical sites.

The weather in New Haven is moderate, so any time of year is a good time to visit. However, summertime may be the best option for tourists who want to take advantage of all the city has to offer.

Since the weather is moderate, you won't need to pack too many heavy clothes. However, you should bring a light jacket or sweater for cooler evenings. comfortable shoes are also a must since you'll be doing a lot of walking.

New Haven is known for its pizza, so be sure to try a slice (or two) while you're in town. There are also plenty of other restaurants that serve a variety of cuisines.
